Top 10 Rarest Diablo 2 Resurrected Items to Collect

With the release of Diablo 2 resurrected, players have been engaged in the world of dungeons from the past. With most players having grown up since the almost two-decade-old initial release, the focus has been placed on the rarest item sets you can obtain in Diablo 2. Whether you’re a treasure seeker, achievement hunter, or just someone that wants the top-tier items to show off, this list is a must amongst the community!

So strap in, and let’s go over every item, why it is rare, and why you should get it.

Keep in mind that we will include both separate items and sets throughout this list to help you best grind for the top-tier items.

Number 10 – Mara’s Kaleidoscope

Mara’s Kaleidoscope

This item is debated whether or not it should be on this list; however, its rarity and necessity for specific build(s) secure itself a place on this list. The stats are as follows:

  • +2 To All Skills
  • All Resistances +20-30
  • +5 To All Attributes

Most of these stats seem irrelevant, but we mentioned that resistance is vital if you remember our previous blizzard sorceress build guide. Most players will struggle with end-game hell dungeons without resistances, and this item provides a decent amount of defense while bolstering your other stats. Mara’s Kaleidoscope is excellent in that it serves as a great placeholder for any gem upgrades.

Number 9 – Angelic Raiment

The Angelic Raiment is a set item. These set items serve as a great way to get high resistance and works with many builds.  This set is not made for late game but is possible to get early, and if you have it early, it will help you steamroll through content for its sheer value stat-wise.

Here are its stats:

  • Half Freeze Duration.
  • All Resistances +25.
  • 40% Better Chance of Getting Magic Item.
  • Regenerate Mana +8%
  • +10 Dexterity.
  • +50 Mana.

It appears on this list because of the rarity of getting the set. Not all Diablo 2 resurrected items drop from one boss, and it may take a long time to acquire each piece of gear for the set. Nonetheless, the gear looks fantastic and will let you run through content with ease. For these reasons, this secures its place as number 9.

Number 8 – Harlequins Crest

Harlequins crest is one of the most sought-after helms for its significant stat boosts. Here is what it gives:

  • +2 To All Skills
  • +1-148 To Life (+1.5 Per Character Level)
  • +1-148 To Mana (+1.5 Per Character Level)
  • Damage Reduced By 10%
  • 50% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items
  • +2 To All Attributes

Look at all those stats. This item is a significant priority for any warrior or tank style builds for its incredible damage reduction qualities. This item is not difficult to obtain but instead will require you to be in hell difficulty dungeons, specifically in the Black Marsh area.

Number 7 – Tal Rasha’s Wrappings

Tal Rasha’s Wrappings is a set that has these bonuses for wearing all pieces:

  • +50% Resistance
  • +3 to All Skills
  • +150 Defense
  • +150 Life
  • +50 Defense vs. Missiles
  • +10 Replenish Life
  • +65% Magic Find
  • +25% Faster Hit Recovery

This set is almost a must-have for players looking to get any of the items on this list, as the 65% magic find is one of the highest percentage magic find set bonuses in the game. The set isn’t as complex as most other D2R items on this list because it can drop anywhere, even on normal difficulty. Although it may be easier to get this complete set, it still shows up as number 7 due to its incredible magic-finding properties.

Number 6 – Crown of Ages

The Crown of Ages doesn’t just have a cool name; it also is one of the best helmets for any defensive style player. The stats on the Crown of Ages is as follows:

  • +50% Enhanced Defense
  • +100-150 Defense
  • +1 To All Skills
  • Damage Reduced By 10-15%
  • All Resistances +20-30
  • +30% Faster Hit Recovery
  • Socketed (1-2)
  • Indestructible

As you can see, those stats are insane regarding defensive attributes. You will begin to notice that many of the earlier items on this list are primarily helmets; funny that. Either way, getting the Crown of Ages isn’t tricky, but the stats make it on this list. To get the Crown of Ages, you must simply be on Hell difficulty and farm either Arreat Summit area or Frozenstein in act 5. Easier said than done, however, farming hell difficulty is a difficult feat on its own, making this item a rare find and a tricky challenge.

Number 5 – Skin of the Vipermagi

It is a cheap, relatively inexpensive item that isn’t great for late-game content; however, the Skin of The Vipermagi makes its way to number 5 as a community favorite for early to mid-game content. It has a great defense and cool-down reduction mix that fits into practically any build and is perfect for early game content. Here are the stats:

  • +120% Enhanced Defense
  • +1 To All Skills
  • 30% Faster Cast Rate
  • Magic Damage Reduced By 9-13
  • All Resistances +20-35

Number 4 – The Disciple Set

More specifically, the disciple set’s gloves – Laying of Hands. The set is decent enough for any class; however, the gloves increase attack speed by 20%. The gloves essentially make this 4th on the list of rarest D2R items. Here are the set bonuses:

  • +50% Resistance
  • +2 to All Skills
  • +100 Mana
  • +10 Dexterity
  • +150 Defense
  • +22 Poison Damage Over 3 Seconds

With the attack speed bonus of Laying of Hands, the poison damage output on mobs is extreme. This set can easily be carried into the late game.

Number 3 – Raven Frost

The Raven Frost ring is unique in that it has one of the best buffs in the game – Immunity to Frozen. We cannot understate the value of immunity to cold damage for those who are pretty new to Diablo 2 , as cold damage is quite prevalent, especially in late-game dungeons. For this reason alone, the Raven Frost ring earns its place in the top 3.

Number 2 – Immortal King Set

This set would have been number 1. You will see later what number 1 is. The Immortal King Set comes with a fantastic visual effect after completion. The stats far outweigh any other set in Diablo 2. Here are the stats below:

  • Partial Set Bonuses:
  • +50 to Attack Rating (Any two items)
  • +75 to Attack Rating (Any three items)
  • +125 to Attack Rating (Any four items)
  • +200 to Attack Rating (Any five items)
  • Full Set Bonus
  • +50% Resistance To All
  • +3 to All Skills
  • +150 Life
  • -10 Magical Damage Taken
  • +450 To Attack Rating
  • Display Aura

As you can see, this set is no joke; the stats alone make it worth the grind. Remember, though, this is a rare set and is challenging to obtain.

Number 1 – Stone of Jordan

This ring is the hardest to obtain, making it number 1 on this list. Most players will have to kill Mephisto over and over again before getting this rare item. So, what’s the deal with it? Why is it so good? Most rings do not give skills that appeal to both melee and casters; however, this tool can improve on already min-maxed builds. On top of this, Stone of Jordan can be used to make robust sockets in already powerful sets, such as the Immortal King Set. This is why this ring has the number 1 on this list.
