World of Warcraft: Guide for the Warrior with the “Weapons” specialization

World of Warcraft is a game that has survived for almost two decades and remains at the top of the MMORPG. There are more and more fans of the game, although the ratings jump up and down from one addon to another.

Not every player can easily start playing at a good level right away, because this is a rather complex game – just imagine what a huge amount of content could be created in twenty years. WoW has a lot of difficult bosses, not the most obvious mechanics, and rather difficult quests. But if in the distant past, when World of Warcraft was just released, you would have to go through everything on your own, now the task has become much easier, because every player can buy wow boost. This is a service from professional gamers who will quickly complete any mission or difficult dungeon for you, collect the coolest rewards and items, and much more.

Guide for the Warrior with the “Weapons” specialization is relevant for the version of the game Dragonflight 10.0.2. In it, we will tell you the basics of the game for a warrior and useful add-ons.

General information

Players who max out without add-ons often find it difficult to master the interface needed to complete raids and mythic dungeons. To prevent this from happening, we recommend that you start using addons when pumping. You can find a list of current add-ons in this article.

A short guide to the Warrior “Weapon” Dragonflight

This section is intended for players who have no idea about the class or the game in general, do not claim to master Mythic raids, and do not want to dive into the intricacies of specialization. After studying the section, you can start playing without delay and with minimal losses.

Fundamentals of the Weapons Specialization

Arms Warrior deals damage with direct attacks and bleeds. His rotation is not particularly difficult, talents add attacks to it or change existing abilities. This build provides a simple yet effective playstyle that is suitable for all types of content and allows novice players to learn the basic mechanics of the Weapons specialization.

Addons

ElvUI

ElvUI suits all characters without exception in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight. It completely changes the components of the standard interface: ability panels, cooldown timers, effect icons, and so on.

Boss fight addons: Deadly Boss Mods or Bigwigs

Boss battle addons alert players to potentially harmful abilities and show them tactical hints in real-time. You should install one of these add-ons, in our opinion. Although Deadly Boss Mods are more common among gamers, you could prefer Big Wigs.

GTFO

GTFO is a straightforward add-on that alerts the player to a threat (like a puddle underfoot). It will be much more useful to utilize it together with the addon from the previous paragraph, it has several advantages.

Weak Auras

An add-on for showing visual elements on the screen is called WeakAuras (it will help you to see buffs, debuffs, and cooldowns). It significantly eases participating in battles in the game and improves the effectiveness of combat activities in World of Warcraft. Additionally, non-combat uses are possible for it.

Mythic Dungeons

In the first season of Dragonflight Mythic Dungeons, the list of available dungeons has changed. It includes dungeons from previous expansions. Also in the first season, a fundamentally new modifier appeared.

Unique Challenges in Mythic Dungeons

Mythic Keystone Dungeons are high-level PvE content comparable in difficulty to Mythic Raids.

The Warrior has more AoE damage than ever before, as the opportunity cost of talent picking has gone down. However, there are still no universal builds, so warriors invariably have to choose a damage profile (single target or AoE).

In Mythic dungeons, fighters mainly require AoE damage, which can be dealt with using rotation. Damage largely depends on the knowledge of the mechanics and the dungeon in general, this allows you to apply cooldowns in time or, conversely, hold them. For example, if the target or the pack dies soon, it is not advisable to use cooldowns, it is better to wait a few seconds and turn them into a “fresh” pack.

Choice of accessories for Mythic dungeons

You can choose accessories that have cooldowns that match the cooldowns of powerful AoE abilities, as well as accessories for single-target fights that will work well on bosses. In the second case, the Patchwerk parameter is selected for the simulation, and in the second, DungeonSlice. According to our observations, accessories with bonuses to characteristics that work randomly give the best results in the simulation in World of Warcraft.

Additional information

Almost all of the Weapon’s abilities interact with each other, so it can be difficult for a novice WoW player to determine the order in which they are used.

Try to stay close to the target

This tip will be useful to the vast majority of classes, but it is especially important for warriors, as their auto attacks not only deal damage but also generate rage. Unlike classes with energy, warriors do not generate resources without access to the target, so they are not in danger of overflowing the supply. However, we recommend that you use fast travel abilities to minimize the time spent away from your target. If the boss casts a spell that requires players to run in a certain direction, you can attack him to the last, quickly move away from him with Heroic Leap, and return with Dash once the threat is gone.

Downtime is allowed in the Weapons rotation, but should not be during Colossus Smash, otherwise, your damage will suffer greatly. If Colossus Slam is not working, feel free to skip global cooldowns and build rage for Mortal Strike, which refreshes Deep Wounds.

Check your rage level

Arms Var generates Rage more slowly than other Warrior specializations, however, some effects (such as Bladestorm and Deadly Calm) make this process unpredictable. Try not to overfill your rage pool and don’t use it excessively. Always have a small margin to cast important abilities and refresh effects, especially if you’re using Skull Cleaver shortly before or right after Bladestorm.

Of course, you will not immediately start playing as cool as a professional gamer from a boosting service, but hard work and effort will help you succeed in this difficult game. World of Warcraft is loved for its complexity – which is why it always has quite high ratings on Metacritic.
